About the yard
Valley Farm is a riding school, livery yard and competition centre near Wickham Market, on around 80 acres of meadows. The site says it is highly commended by the British Horse Society and is on the Livery List.
Horses are stabled in the day, with concrete floodlit yards, and turned out in herds overnight. Turnout is available all year, with summer grazing on marsh land and higher ground for wet winters. The owner lives on site, and the gate has CCTV and the tack room is alarmed.
Livery is offered as full, working, schooling and short-stay. Working livery suits owners who cannot ride every day, as the yard takes on full feeding and bedding. The yard does not publish prices, so ask for a quote by phone or email.
