Assisted DIY livery “Assisted DIY livery”
£360–£400 a month
£360 a month for five days a week, or £400 for seven. The yard does turnout and bring-in, hay nets and water, and rug changes. The owner does mucking out and poo picking. On the five-day option, weekends and bank holidays are DIY.
Part livery “Assisted livery”
£475 a month
Staff do all routine care Monday to Friday, including turnout and bring-in, mucking out, poo picking, paddock maintenance and rug changes. Weekends and bank holidays are DIY, with services bookable.
Full livery “Full livery”
£590 a month
Seven-day all-inclusive care: all necessary duties are done by the yard. Horses are out 24 hours a day in summer and come in at night in winter.
Full and assisted prices are monthly. Assisted DIY is £360 a month for five days a week, or £400 a month for seven days a week.

About the yard
Potsford Livery is a BHS approved yard on a 200-acre working care farm at Letheringham, just outside Wickham Market in Suffolk. It offers full, assisted and assisted DIY livery, and can arrange exercising (ridden or groundwork), clipping and help with professional visits.
Horses go out 24 hours a day in summer and come in at night in winter. Each package includes ad lib hay, shavings bedding in winter and basic hard feed. Turnout in winter is about six hours a day, weather permitting.
The yard has 12 by 12 metre stables with full rubber matting, a 20 by 40 metre floodlit arena with show jumps for livery use, a secure tack room with tea-making facilities, a feed room and a hot shower. Private off-road hacking runs across the farm.
