About the yard
Mill Farm is a DIY livery yard on Quab Lane outside Wedmore in Somerset. Owners look after their own horses, with the yard providing the stable, the forage and the land.
Each stable has a camera you can check from your phone. The arena is 60 by 21 metres, floodlit, with mirrors at one end, and there is a lunge pen, a horse walker, a solarium and a hot wash with a hosepipe boom. Horses go out in paddocks chosen by the yard, or in all-weather turnout pens if you want to limit grazing. Turnout pens are available all year.
The 2025 standard stable was £200 a month and the VIP stable £210. The yard was full when we checked, with a mailing list for spaces.
