About the yard

Hern Gate Farm is a family-run livery centre on the Ringwood Road at North Gorley, in the north-west corner of the New Forest National Park. It offers full livery for all disciplines, and grazing either shared with other horses or in a private field for owners who keep their own horses.

The main attraction for owners is the fully post and railed Polytrack menage, which is floodlit and open to all clients, with tuition available. The yard is aimed at people who hack in the Forest as well as competitors.

The yard does not publish prices on its website, so ring the farm for current full and grass livery rates before visiting.

Turnout

The yard doesn't say. Ask about winter turnout before you visit: it's the thing most owners want to know.
