DIY livery “DIY stable and grazing”
from £130 a month
Stable and grazing only. You provide your own hard feed and pay extra each month for hay, haylage and bedding.
DIY livery “DIY with feed”
from £207 a month
Feed all year round and hay or haylage through the winter months, for one monthly figure. Bedding is extra.
Part livery
from £336 a month
Turned out or brought in each day, with feed, hay or haylage and bedding included. Other services can be added.
Full livery
£466 a month
Daily turnout, bring-in and muck out. Rug changes and feet picked out. Feed, hay or haylage and shavings included. Routine appointments managed.
Grass livery
from £100 a month
Grazing only. Hay and haylage are paid for as used. The yard also offers a grass package with hay and haylage included, but gives no figure for it.

About the yard
Cross Lane is a small yard on the edge of Harlow Wood near Blidworth, run by the same owner since 2003. It takes full, part, DIY and grass livery, with 14 stables and about 20 acres of paddocks on sand land.
Turnout runs all year round, with individual, paired or group turnout, and there are two field shelters plus natural shelter from the trees. The woodland hacking starts at the gate and the yard says there is minimal roadwork.
The floodlit sand school has show jumps and dressage boards, and there are a secure tack room, a toilet and a kitchen on site. The yard also takes horses in for backing and schooling. The published prices are from 2015, so check the figures before you ring.
