Part livery

Price on request

Part livery uses the same star levels as full livery, so the owner shares the work. Ask which tasks the yard covers at the level you want.

Price on request

Star levels run from 5* to 2* and set how much care is covered. Haylage or hay, hard feed and turnout are included at every level. Grooming, bedding and holding for vets or farriers are extras at the lower levels.

The services sheet lists what each star level covers but no prices.

The yard doesn't publish prices: ring or email them. Monthly figures are worked out from weekly prices × 52 ÷ 12.

About the yard

Witcham Equestrian Centre is a small yard just outside Witcham, a few miles from Ely. It takes full and part livery only, so DIY owners will need to look elsewhere.

The yard sorts its livery into star levels in a services sheet. The top level covers the most of the day, including grooming and clipping holds; lower levels leave more to the owner and charge extra for things like grooming and holding for the vet.

The facilities include a flood-lit covered arena, a flood-lit outdoor arena, an all-weather turnout paddock, a secure tack room and a rest room with tea and coffee. There is also a mechanical horse for riders who want a gentler return to riding.

Turnout

The yard doesn't say. Ask about winter turnout before you visit: it's the thing most owners want to know.
