About the yard
Park Farm Stables is a small, private DIY livery yard in over 100 acres of Warwickshire farmland, about 1.5 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon town centre and close to junction 15 of the M40. The yard says it has been a BHS approved livery yard for more than 20 years and that the owner lives on site.
Livery at £72.50 a week includes a stable, individual summer and winter paddocks and use of the facilities. Hay, haylage and shavings are supplied, and the yard grows its own organic hay and haylage. Lorry parking and the covered horse walker are charged at £4 a week each. A freelance instructor on site offers assisted livery, day care and holiday care.
The facilities include an indoor school with a surface of Andrews Bowen, two floodlit schools (one 20 by 40 metres and one 20 by 60 metres with mirrors), a covered horse walker, show jumps, cross-country fences and a car and lorry park. Turnout is every day through the winter, with reduced hours in bad weather.
