About the yard
Newark Equestrian is a riding school and Pony Club centre at Balderton, on the edge of Newark. Alongside lessons it takes working and schooling livery for horses and ponies, with arrangements tailored to each horse and owner. The yard does not offer DIY livery.
The yard has two large floodlit all-weather menages, both with viewing galleries, a jumping paddock and a beginners' cross-country course. The stables are large individual boxes, and the grazing has field shelters. Local farmers let riders hack over their land on off-road tracks.
The yard says it is full at present and keeps a waiting list. Livery prices are not published, so ring the yard to ask. Riding lesson prices are on the website.
