About the yard
Hacton Park Corner Farm is a DIY and grass livery yard south west of Upminster town centre, about ten minutes from junction 29 of the M25. The yard was a farm that became an equestrian centre in 1995, and the owners live on site.
There are 38 stables on a 42 acre site, a mix of newer brick stables and converted farm buildings, with shared or individual tack rooms. Two floodlit sand and fibre manèges are on site, one 50 by 30 metres and one 40 by 20 metres.
Turnout is all year round in paddocks and fields with post and rail fencing and automatic drinking troughs, and grass livery fields have field shelters. A private two-mile bridleway runs round the perimeter, and a short walk along a back road reaches Hornchurch Country Park.
