About the yard
Gaddesden Estate offers do-it-yourself livery, with paddocks alongside yards or independently, including options with horse shelters and water troughs.
The estate says paddocks are harrowed and rolled in spring and topped during summer. Livery and grazing clients can join the estate ride, an eight-mile route described as primarily off-road.
Turnout
The yard doesn't say. Ask about winter turnout before you visit: it's the thing most owners want to know.
