About the yard
CHD Equestrian is a livery and training yard on a farm at Elsfield, about a mile from Oxford city centre. The site lists grass livery, DIY stabled livery, part livery and full livery, and riding tuition alongside.
Grass livery is the cheapest route in. Horses are out 24 hours a day on well-draining paddocks with automatic water troughs, and there is no stable. DIY stabled livery adds a stable with rubber matting and the same turnout.
Part livery is for owners who want the yard to take on mucking out, turning out, bringing in and rug changes, either occasionally or every day. It is priced on application. Further help beyond that costs extra, so ring first.
The outdoor arena is 20 by 60 metres with mirrors, lights and use of jumps. Hacking is private, on the farm itself.
