About the yard
Bogenraith Equestrian is a purpose-built centre in Durris, a few miles from Banchory in Aberdeenshire. It has 50 stables of the same size, each with a locker, and offers two kinds of livery: full, where staff muck out, feed and rug, and assisted, where staff feed and rug and the owner does more of the day-to-day care.
Hay or haylage and sawdust bedding are included in both. Horses get daily turnout on post-and-rail paddocks, with staff deciding on turnout in very wet or very hot weather. The site lists an indoor arena, outdoor arenas, a farrier bay, hot-water wash bays, a coin-operated rug washer and a horse walker for an extra charge.
Turnout
Daily turnout on paddocks, with separate paddocks on request. Staff decide on turnout on very wet or very hot days. Rehabilitation and isolation paddocks are also on site.
