    About the yard

The Equine Centre at Bishop Burton College, near Beverley, is part of a land-based college. Its own pages say it has 110 stables across three yards that are available for livery and for event hire, so it takes owners' horses as well as college and event horses.

The site lists indoor and outdoor arenas, a horse walker, a cross-country course, equine laundry and a weighbridge, and a six-kilometre hacking track across the college farmland. The livery pages do not name the types of livery or publish prices, so ring the centre before you visit.

    Turnout

The yard doesn't say. Ask about winter turnout before you visit: it's the thing most owners want to know.
