About the yard
Berriewood is a family-run livery yard on a former wartime airfield near Shrewsbury, now a working farm with a solar farm alongside it. The yard offers DIY, semi and combi livery, and short-term stabling for visiting horses.
DIY livery includes the stable, saddlery and equipment storage, the horse walker and daily turnout. Summer turnout is as long as you like; winter turnout may be on a shorter rota. Semi livery adds staff feeding, mucking out and turnout at least five days a week, with straw, hay or haylage included. Combi livery is the same Monday to Friday, with the owner doing weekends and bank holidays.
Owners live on site and staff are around to help. There is a horse walker, a hot horse shower, weekly farrier visits, monthly vet visits, off-road hacking and a hard standing for trailers and horseboxes. Liveries have use of the arenas and cross-country areas when they are free.
