About the yard
Beechwood Riding School is at Hillboxes Farm in Marden Park, near Woldingham, on the North Downs. It runs a riding school alongside the livery, with two all-weather menages, a grass school, a jumping paddock, cross-country jumps and an indoor school.
Full livery is charged per day at £20, and the yard lists what that covers: stabling, hay, bedding, feed, mucking out three times a day, turnout weather permitting, bringing in, rug changes, grooming and use of the shared facilities. Lungeing, schooling and riding are charged on top, as are clipping, rug washing and trailer parking.
The yard owns farmland and woodland to ride on, and its hacks are escorted and off-road along woodland tracks and bridleways. The yard says it is approved by both the BHS and the ABRS.
